FIFA World Cup 26 is here and Frisco is feeling it everywhere. This weekend the city is hosting watch parties at multiple venues, a new soccer legends exhibit opens at the Heritage Center, and the energy of the tournament is woven through the entire three days. Beyond soccer, there is a meaningful blood drive, a free outdoor movie, a Flag Day ceremony, a Garth Brooks tribute night, a pasta masterclass, a Western evening at Kaleidoscope Park, a fun float night at the water park, and a pet adoption event at Stonebriar. Give Back, Then Kick Off the Weekend
Summer is one of the highest-need periods for blood donations, and Carter BloodCare is bringing their donation bus to the PGA District on Friday. All blood types are needed, with O-negative especially critical as the universal blood type. Donors receive a beach towel courtesy of Carter BloodCare and a $25 e-gift card valid at select national retailers. Walk-ups are welcome but reservations are encouraged.
Reserve a Time SlotRollertown Beerworks is a full-scale FIFA World Cup tournament village this summer, and the USA vs. Paraguay match on Friday brings the energy to a peak. Giant-screen watch party in The Backyard, tournament-inspired cocktails, fresh local beer brewed for the tournament, food trucks, and DJs. Reserved VIP Pitchside Cabanas, Balcony Couch Groups, Choctaw Football Club Lounge Sections, and private rooms are available. All other seating is first come first served.

Big screen action, a full match-day atmosphere, and the heart of The Star District as the backdrop. Wear red, white, and blue and come out for the celebration.
The weekly PGA District summer movie series continues Friday night with Bolt on the big outdoor screen. Bring a lawn blanket and settle in at 8:00 PM. PGA District restaurants are open before and after the film and roaming beverage carts will be available. Outside food, drinks, and lawn chairs are not permitted. Pets are welcome on a leash. Coming up: The Parent Trap on June 19th and Cars on June 26th.
A Full Saturday with Something for Everyone
The Legends of Soccer Exhibit opens this Saturday at the Frisco Heritage Center, celebrating male and female soccer players from around the globe whose talent and passion have shaped the sport. The exhibit features player stories, jerseys, game-day memories from world-renowned stars, and vibrant displays honoring the World Cup. Stadium-inspired memorabilia and photo-worthy setups make this a meaningful and visually striking experience. The exhibit runs through December 2026, so this weekend marks the very first opportunity to see it.
Habitat for Paws is bringing adoptable dogs and cats to Stonebriar Centre this Saturday from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, set up inside the mall near Macy's. Stop in to meet some furry friends looking for their forever homes, enjoy giveaways, and explore all available adoptable animals through the link below before or during the event.

Purchase TicketsThe Texas Traditions summer series kicks off at Kaleidoscope Park this Saturday evening with the Texas Country Music Kick-Off. Fin Ewing and The Wrong Direction perform live alongside a trackless train, bubble foam party, pony rides, and the themed hands-on activities and Texas heritage experiences that make this series a wonderful family outing. The series continues weekly through June with different themes each Saturday.
The Frisco Water Park is staying open for a special Summer Kickoff Fun Float Night from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Fun floats in the water, a live DJ, snacks, and activities for all ages. Bring your own float for an extra splash of fun. Free for FAC Members and Splash Pass holders. Event passes are $7 for youth and $9 for adults.
Shameless brings a full Garth Brooks tribute to The Backyard at Rollertown Saturday night. From "Friends in Low Places" to "The Thunder Rolls," "Callin' Baton Rouge," and "The Dance," this is a night of big sing-alongs and boot-stomping anthems. Doors open at 7:00 PM with the show beginning at 8:15 PM.

Sunday's early session at Rollertown covers the Japan vs. Netherlands match from noon to 5:30 PM. The evening Sweden vs. Tunisia game is a separate purchase.

Bring worn or tattered flags for respectful retirement, learn about the history and traditions behind Flag Day, and witness the flag retirement ceremony at 2:00 PM followed by a Fire Vigil by Scouts at 2:30 PM. A quiet and worthwhile way to mark the day.
Sunday evening at Rollertown brings the Sweden vs. Tunisia match. As Frisco's official Team Base Camp for Sweden's Men's National Team during FIFA World Cup 26, this is a particularly meaningful match to watch right here in town. Please note that evening session reservations are separate from the early session. All other seating is first come first served.
