Father's Day weekend in Frisco comes with a full calendar. Friday features a special RoughRiders game features the team as the Dallas Black Giants for Juneteenth, followed by postgame fireworks, and a free outdoor movie at PGA Frisco. Saturday brings a morning bike ride, sensory swim, a Peace Pole dedication, a FIFA World Cup watch party, a Taylor Swift tribute night, Bluey at Riders Field, and the Taste of Texas edition of Texas Traditions at Kaleidoscope Park. Sunday closes out the weekend with Music in the Chamber, Bluey's final day at the ballpark, and Father's Day fireworks.

Summer Movie Night: The Parent Trap at PGA Frisco

The PGA District summer movie series continues Friday night with The Parent Trap on the big outdoor screen. Bring a lawn blanket and settle in at 8:00 PM. Restaurants in the PGA District are open before and after the film and roaming beverage carts will be available. Outside food, drinks, and lawn chairs are not permitted. Pets are welcome on a leash. Cars closes out the series on June 26th.

A Saturday Packed from Sunrise to Midnight

Cycle the City: PGA Trail
8:00 AM Stafford Middle School, 2288 Little River Dr

This month's Cycle the City ride follows the PGA Trail, a 7.7-mile route starting at Stafford Middle School. Routes combine on-street and hike and bike trails and each ride lasts between two and three hours. A great way to discover Frisco's parks, public art, and trails in good company.

The Play For All Sensory Swim returns Saturday morning with a limited capacity of 250 guests and no background music, creating a calm and inclusive environment for individuals with sensory sensitivities. Lazy River saddles and sensory kits are available. Registration is required in advance.

Peace Pole Dedication Ceremony

Play Frisco and the Rotary Club of Frisco are dedicating a new Peace Pole Monument at Frisco Commons Park on Saturday morning. Peace Poles carry the message "May Peace Prevail on Earth" in the languages of the world and are recognized as one of the most prominent international symbols dedicated to peace. They have been planted in over 200,000 communities across every continent. A meaningful and community-centered ceremony worth attending.

The Netherlands vs. Sweden FIFA World Cup match is a particularly meaningful one for Frisco, as Sweden's Men's National Team is based here as the official Team Base Camp during the tournament. Watch the match live at Rollertown from 11:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Reserved VIP seating including Pitchside Cabanas, Balcony Couch Groups, and the Choctaw Football Club Lounge are available. Please note The Backyard closes at 5:30 PM for the evening concert.

Father's Day Done Right in Frisco

The Music in the Chamber 2026 series celebrates America's 250th anniversary with a different 50-year chapter in American music at each concert. This Sunday's performance features Nadodi, a globally influenced ensemble drawing from roots in India, the United States, Indonesia, Malaysia, Israel, and beyond. Their program covers music from 1976 to 2026, exploring the cross-cultural musical exchange that began with the Beatles and Ravi Shankar and continues to evolve today. Musicians include Aleif Hamdan on guitar, Apoorva Krishna on violin, Giri Subramaniam on tabla, Rohith Jayaraman on voice, and Yogev Gabay on drums and percussion. In celebration of Make Music Day.
