Frisco is closing out June with a weekend full of variety. Friday brings a rescheduled 90s country night at Rollertown and the final PGA District movie of the summer series. Saturday packs in a match day artisan market at The Star, HALL Splash, the final Texas Traditions of the series at Kaleidoscope Park, a free BMX competition at the skate park, and an ABBA tribute at the PGA District. There is genuinely something here for everyone this weekend.

Country Night and One Last Movie
Straight Tequila Night brings the 90s country hits to The Backyard on Friday. This show was originally scheduled for April and rescheduled due to weather, so it has been a long time coming. Wall-to-wall anthems from the era that ruled the radio, heartbreak ballads, honky-tonk favorites, and crowd-pleasing classics. Boots, cold beer, and nonstop country. Doors open at 7:00 PM with the show beginning at 8:00 PM.
Buy TicketsThe final PGA District summer movie of the series closes out with Cars on the big outdoor screen. Bring a lawn blanket and settle in at 8:00 PM. PGA District restaurants are open before and after the film and roaming beverage carts will be available. Outside food, drinks, and lawn chairs are not permitted. Pets welcome on a leash.
A Saturday Full from Morning to Night
The Flea Style Match Day Market takes over The Star Boulevard at The Star District on Saturday with a curated lineup of globally inspired makers, artisans, and small businesses. Handmade goods, fashion, art, accessories, and unique finds from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. A great morning or afternoon to browse, discover something new, and enjoy the energy of The Star District during World Cup season.
The weekly HALL Splash pool experience continues every Saturday through Labor Day from noon to 4:30 PM at HALL Park Hotel. Poolside bites, music, and a social atmosphere.
Purchase TicketsPlay Frisco presents the Frisco Summer Jam, the only official BMX Freestyle competition at Frisco Skate Park. This event draws participants from across Texas and beyond and is completely free to attend and compete in. The evening opens at 6:00 PM with check-in, warmups, and a Bunny Hop and High Jump contest. Open Street and Bowl runs at 7:00 PM followed by Competitive Street and Bowl at 8:20 PM. There is a bike giveaway from Play Frisco, a special obstacle for Best Trick, and the traditional Foot Down Contest to close the night.
Register to CompeteSuper Trouper is a DFW-based ABBA tribute band bringing ABBA's greatest hits to the PGA District on Saturday evening with iconic costumes, dynamic choreography, and a crowd that will know every word. Swedish disco with a Texas wink. Bring a lawn blanket, no outside food or drink, and no lawn chairs. Dogs are welcome on a leash.
The Texas Traditions series at Kaleidoscope Park closes out its run this Saturday with the Texas Animals theme. Michael Connally performs live, there will also be a petting zoo, face painting, trackless train, bubble foam party, and pony rides rounding out the evening. A fitting finale for a series that brought great Texas heritage programming to Frisco all summer long.
