Frisco has a full and wonderful weekend ahead, and whether you are looking for a laid-back evening out, a lively Saturday with the family, or a relaxed Sunday exploring something new, there is genuinely something here for everyone. From a free outdoor film at The Star to a Chris Stapleton tribute, a farmers market, a car show, and more, this weekend is worth planning around.
"Three days, ten events, one city. Frisco is making it very easy to have a beautiful weekend."
Start the Weekend Right
Kick off your Friday evening with a free outdoor screening of the beloved rom-com 13 Going on 30 at Tostitos Championship Plaza at The Star. The plaza opens at 6:00 PM, so arrive early to get settled, grab a snack, and soak in the atmosphere before the film begins at 7:00 PM. It is a wonderful date night option, and equally lovely for a girls' night or a casual evening out with friends.
Several dining spots within The Star District are steps away if you would like to pick up something to enjoy during the movie. Bring a comfortable chair and a cozy blanket, and let the evening take care of itself.
A Full Day of Good Things
Start your Saturday morning at the Frisco Rotary Farmers Market, held at Kaleidoscope Park from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. This week features new vendors, live music, a balloon artist, knife sharpening, and more. It is a lively and enjoyable outing for the whole family, and a wonderful way to support local makers and small businesses before the rest of the day gets going.
Presented by Comerica Bank, this shop local vendor market is a wonderful opportunity to discover small businesses and independent makers right here in the community. Running from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, it pairs nicely with the morning farmers market for a full day of local shopping and exploring.
Saturday evening brings a live Chris Stapleton tribute at Rollertown Beerworks. Texas, Whiskey and You is a night of soulful country music in a great setting, perfect for a night out with friends or a date night with a little more edge. Doors open at 7:00 PM. Tickets are available through the link below.
Buy TicketsIf you are not ready for the night to end after the tribute show, stay for Rollertown After Dark upstairs in Lager Hall. Starting at 10:00 PM, a DJ takes over and keeps the energy going well past midnight with high-energy late-night music, drinks, and good company. It is the perfect cap to a full Saturday night out.

Sunday morning kicks off with the MSP Car Show at The Revel Patio Grill, presented in partnership with Mustang Sally Productions. The show runs from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM and features an impressive and diverse lineup of vehicles spanning classic muscle cars, vintage builds, and modern performance machines.
