Frisco is closing out May with a weekend packed from start to finish. Friday brings a free outdoor movie at PGA Frisco, a world-class classical concert, and Paul Wall live in The Backyard at Rollertown. Saturday runs from a volunteer morning and a Polynesian festival all the way through to a rock tribute double-header and an 80s party. There is something here for every kind of weekend.

Music in the Chamber: Close Encounters of the Colonial Kind

Soloists from the Austin Baroque Orchestra perform a program tracing the musical traditions of colonial North America, drawing from the sounds of England, Spain, France, and the Netherlands. Performed on 18th-century replica instruments inside the beautifully acoustic Frisco City Council Chambers, this is an intimate and genuinely memorable concert experience. Part of the Music in the Chamber 2026 series celebrating America's 250th anniversary. Tickets are required.

Free Outdoor Movie: The Incredibles at PGA Frisco
8:00 PM PGA District, 3255 PGA Pkwy, Frisco

Catch The Incredibles on a big outdoor screen in the PGA District on Friday night, completely free. Bring a lawn blanket and settle in before the 8:00 PM showtime. PGA District restaurants will be open for dining before and after the film, and roaming beverage carts will be available for purchase throughout the evening. School is out, and about 250 children in Frisco will no longer have access to a school lunch this summer. St. Philip's Episcopal Church, in partnership with Frisco Family Services, is gathering volunteers of all ages to pack 1,250 lunch bags for the June 1 through 5 summer lunch program. Every bag gets decorated too, making it a creative and heartfelt experience for the whole family. Sign up in advance.
